Angie is a Beaches based artist/crafter/beachcomber.
Maker of fun and soulful items that create a new chapter in the story of once loved and found things. She is currently working primarily with vintage clothing.
Each piece is completely unique and a response to the original item or items of clothing.
It's like taking a house and not knocking it down - valuing the original piece and giving it new life while retaining some of the character it came with.
All original materials are second hand clothes - t-shirts, denim, flannel and hoodies. These are washed, deconstructed and curated then sewn into new pieces, aiming to use as much of the original item as possible. Scraps and offcuts are delivered to a fabric recycling program.
